Kim Delaney‘s husband is once again under arrest after deputies responded to a disturbance at the NYPD Blue alum’s L.A. apartment.
A Family Disturbance
The disturbance took place on Sunday, February 8th.
The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department responded to a family disturbance. The deputies received four separate 911 calls about a verbal disturbance at the couple’s apartment complex in Marina Del Rey.
After the deputies responded, James Morgan, Kim’s husband, was arrested just before midnight local time. He was charged with obstructing or delaying a public officer.
Morgan was booked early Monday morning and is now waiting for his court hearing on Tuesday, February 10th.
A sheriff’s spokesperson told People that Morgan’s “refusal to cooperate with the investigation,” along with the 911 calls, resulted in his arrest.
According to the booking record, Morgan was hit with a misdemeanor charge. “He was cited and released,” the spokesperson stated.
Past Arrests for Both Spouses
This isn’t the only time police have been called to the Delaney apartment complex.
The pair both got arrested back in March 2025. TMZ first reported the story, in which Kim was arrested for “assault likely to cause great bodily injury” to James, who was also arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence for alleged assault with a deadly weapon.
At the time of the arrest, cops reported the couple had been fighting for two days leading up to the arrests.
During the fight, Kim called the police to make a domestic violence report against James. James left the house but later returned, prompting another call to the police. Once there, James said Kim tried to hit him with her car, allegedly showing video of the incident.
After the arrests, Delaney appeared in court on April 1st. Though the L.A. District Attorney’s Office “declined to file charges against Kim Delaney and James Morgan due to insufficient evidence,” a spokesperson stated.
Kim was released from custody the same day without a formal complaint.
Reconciliation
Even though they seem to be at odds, the pair are quick at reconciliation.
Not long after they were released from custody in 2025, Delaney celebrated Morgan’s birthday with an Instagram post. She shared a photo of flowers with the caption: “Birthday Boy, 55!!!!! Your wife loves you, my guy!🌹”
She even had a heartfelt post for Morgan just days before they were arrested, sharing a photo of him on Instagram, writing, “Pure love ❤️ #lucky #grateful.”
Delany and Morgan married in 2022, though their subsequent marriage has been marked by turbulence, including divorce rumors, restraining orders, and arrests.
Delaney did share a sweet post on her Instagram in October 2024 for their wedding anniversary, writing, “A beautiful 2nd wedding anniversary!!! Great memories! I love you, hubby.”
As for recent posts?
She hasn’t shared any additional photos with Morgan since May 2025 and has not commented on the recent arrest.
