Taylor Swift and Keleigh Teller have been friends for years, until Teller decided to pull back. Reportedly, Blake Lively plays a big role in this decision.
In December of 2024, Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni. Per Page Six, Lively accused him of sexual harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy, and lost wages.
Baldoni’s lawyer responded to the claims, saying, “These claims are completely false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt and rehash a narrative in the media.”
During the situation, Lively relied heavily on her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and her best friend, Taylor Swift.
Texts between the pair of friends began circulating online. Swift joked about Baldoni bringing out his “tiny violin,” while Lively referred to Swift as one of her “dragons” who was protecting and fighting for her during the legal battle.
Keleigh Teller “Couldn’t believe they were talking to each other like that,” according to Page Six.
Though Taylor Swift and Keleigh Teller’s Friendship began in 2014, they became closer after Swift began dating her now-fiancé, Travis Kelce, in 2023. Keleigh’s husband, Miles Teller, is reportedly close friends with the Kelce brothers.
This prompted Lively to allegedly feel “threatened” by the pair’s closeness and became jealous upon seeing a photo of Keleigh and Swift leaving the Electric Lady Studios in New York City together.
Reportedly, Lively is “not generally very welcoming of other people into the fold.”
Due to the environment and the texts between Lively and Swift, Keleigh stepped away to protect her mental health, taking the advice of friends.
She allegedly tried to keep Swift close throughout this time, but did not feel prioritized by the pop star. One source claimed that Swift did not reach out to the Tellers when they lost their home in 2025 during the Los Angeles wildfires.
Though Keleigh allegedly hopes to reconcile with Swift, she and her husband reportedly did not make the guest list for Swift and Kelce’s upcoming wedding.
According to Page Six, Lively was likely also left off the list, suggesting that Taylor Swift and Keleigh Teller’s friendship is not the only one that fell apart.
Swift and Kelce are set to tie the knot on July 3rd in New York.
