Travis Kelce has shared some words about his upcoming wedding day.
Even though most of the details are hidden, the groom is getting excited to wed Taylor Swift.

The NFL star is getting closer to tying the knot with fiancée Taylor Swift, after sharing their engagement in August 2025.
On May 6th, their wedding came up during an interview with golfer Rory McIlroy on his and brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast.
McIlroy recently won the Masters and was discussing the win alongside his job of hosting the tournament’s annual Masters Champions dinner. This is when McIlroy brought up the highly anticipated wedding.
He said, “Travis, you’ll feel this this year whenever you’re sitting at your wedding, and you have all the people in a room … it’s amazing to have all these people in the same room from your childhood … and it’s surreal. It’s unbelievable.”
He added, “The only thing that I can compare it to is your wedding day because it’s like all this collection of people in the same room. It’s like wild.” Smiling, Travis replied, “I can’t wait.”
Keeping Details Secret
Travis Kelce has kept any other details about the wedding secret, and his family members are following suit in saying mum.
During an April episode of Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce, Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, spoke out about the wedding. She asked fans to stop questioning her and other family members.
“Quit asking me and my mother-in-law about upcoming nuptials. Nobody’s f—ing telling you anything,” she said to the camera.
Kylie added, “I don’t have any details. I don’t have any details. … have no details. I have none. Look at that. That’s how many details I have. None. None.”
Donna Kelce, Travis’s mom, has also evaded questions about the wedding. When she was approached by TMZ in March, the mother of the groom stayed cool as a cucumber.
When asked about details, Donna replied cheekily, “Is the groom’s mother ever involved?”
She also denied signing an NDA to keep the details quiet.
She added, “They know I can keep a secret.”
Rumors About Wedding
Ever since the engagement announcement, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding has been the most anticipated celebrity event of 2026.
There have been many speculations about where and when the wedding will be.
Some thought it would be on June 13th in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, near Swift’s seaside home, but that was ruled out. The wedding planner for Ocean House, a hotel in the area, shot down that idea.
The other rumors floating around is the wedding will take place before the NFL training season, which starts in mid-July.
Page Six speculated that the wedding would be in New York City over the July 3rd weekend, but again, no one is confirming or denying anything.
