The Haley Kalil and Matt Kalil legal battle is taking a new turn.
Haley has defended her candid remarks about her marriage to Matt, trying to get the lawsuit against her thrown out.
New Twist

New filings on February 18th & 19th are showing a twist in Haley’s statement.
She is arguing that Matt’s name was never said by her, and the comments are being mischaracterized. Haley claims she never said Matt’s name in the tell-all Twitch stream.
However, Matt’s lawsuit begs to differ. It claims that “viewers could and did readily infer” whom she was talking about.
This recent media coverage has derailed Matt’s attempt at keeping a low profile after retiring from the NFL.
Haley claims the media attention is due to them both being public figures, rather than what she said during the livestream.
Use of “Free Speech”
This isn’t the first time Haley has tried to get the lawsuit thrown out.
In late January, she cited “free speech,” alleging “there’s no case law where a woman’s truthful account of her own sexual pain has been found to be an invasion of someone else’s privacy,” according to TMZ.
Haley’s lawyer, Matthew Bialick, addressed the news outlet, stating they “are more confident than ever that this case will be dismissed.”
In a further statement, Bialick said:
“A woman’s right to provide a truthful account of her own relationships and her own past sexual trauma lies at the very core of First Amendment protections. Mr. Kalil’s brief mentioned the First Amendment a grand total of three times and offered no constitutional analysis whatsoever. We are more confident than ever that this case will be dismissed and that Ms. Kalil will be awarded her attorneys’ fees.”
Response of Matt’s Lawyer
Ryan Saba, Matt Kalil’s attorney, also spoke up about Haley’s newest push to be rid of the lawsuit.
He told UNILAD that, “Haley Kalil’s motion to dismiss does not dispute the fact that she wantonly disclosed private and intimate details about Matt Kalil that resulted in widespread ridicule and unwanted attention.”
He added to the statement that, “The motion completely misses the point that a spouse does not have a right to expose private and confidential marital and sexual details for the purpose of profiting. We expect that the motion will be completely denied.”
The Twitch Stream
The whole debacle started back in November 2025 when Haley appeared on a Twitch live stream with streamer Marlon Garcia.
The former Sports Illustrated model opened up about the failed marriage and the couple’s sex life, alluding to her ex’s private size to be “the biggest factor” in their divorce.
During the livestream, she tells Garcia, “I’m going to type something on my phone that the stream can’t see. That’ll put it into perspective for you.”
The two giggled at her screen, with Haley even saying it represented, “[their] whole marriage.”
She went on to say that, “he’s like 0.01 percent of the population. We’ve tried, impossible unless you’re going to be in tears type s**t.”
In other spaces, Haley Kalil has described her ex-husband’s penis as the size of “two Coke cans stacked on top of each other, maybe even a third.”
The comments prompted a firestorm on social media, to which Matt Kalil sued Haley for her comments.
He claimed the comments resulted in “unwanted attention and invasive commentary from the public.” His family was also “forced to endure the ongoing public circulation.”
