Love is in the air after Spider-Man co-stars Tom Holland and Zendaya announced that they are officially married. Though fans have been anticipating the wedding since their engagement, the couple tied the knot in secret.
Speculation surrounding Tom Holland and Zendaya’s marriage has been circulating for months after fans created AI wedding photos of the couple. “Many people have been fooled by them,” Zendaya shared. She also mentioned that many people in her personal life saw the photos and were upset that they did not receive a wedding invitation, per People.
When Holland was questioned about the photos in an interview with Esquire, he shared a similar story. His grandmother had seen the photos and thought she hadn’t been invited to the anticipated wedding. When the interviewer asked Holland if he had similar conversations with other family members, he responded, saying, “No, because they were all there.”
When asked to elaborate on the secret wedding, he said, “That’s all you’ll get on that.”
Further confirmation of the marriage came from Zendaya’s stylist back in March. “The wedding has already happened,” she shared. “You missed it.”
Though Holland didn’t share wedding details with fans, he shared the impact his relationship with Zendaya has had on him.
Holland explained that the business they’re in can be very stressful, so “it’s nice to have a relationship that stands the test of time. We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else.”
He continued to talk about his bride, saying, “So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”
When the couple announced their engagement in January 2025, a source told People, “He’s always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one. They have something very special.”
The newly married couple prepares for a busy summer as they anticipate press tours. The pair are both starring in the much-anticipated movies, The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
