Reportedly, Princess Kate and King Charles have always shared a close connection. According to People, Sally Bedell Smith said, “I don’t think it is presumptuous to say that she is like the daughter he never had.”

She also shared, “Obviously, they have this in common and can only bring them closer. It is a source of reassurance and consolation for both of them.”

With their already strong bond, the royal pair presumably continues to grow a stronger relationship through these trying times. King Charles and Kate Middleton continue to show their support for the organization as their conditions develop.
