Rapper Offset was shot in an incident outside a casino in Seminole, Florida.
The former Migos member was promptly brought to the hospital to receive treatment while police investigate the incident.
Offset Shot
A source told People that, “We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored.”
They added, “Right now it looks like he’s going to be okay. He’s at Memorial Regional Hospital and not in the ICU.”
The source is not disclosing where Offset was shot as of now.
Current Investigation
The Seminole Police Department provided a statement to People, stating they are “aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.”
The police spokesperson said offers were on site immediately and “the situation was contained quickly.” As of now, police have detained two individuals, and the investigation is ongoing.
Authorities added, “The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”

One video shows the aftermath of the shooting. One individual is escorted away by authorities and limping, while another is on the ground surrounded by law enforcement.
Offset’s Career
Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was a member of the Atlanta-based Migos alongside Quavo and Takeoff. The trio began in 2008 and created several defining rap songs in the 2010s, including collaborations with artists like Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Nicki Minaj, and Cardi B.
Migos disbanded in 2023 after the fatal shooting of Takeoff in Houston, Texas, in 2022. Takeoff was only 28 years old.
Offset then dove into the solo musician world, putting out his own songs and collaborating with artists like Travis Scott, JID, Don Toliver, Gunna, and others.
