Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is speaking out about an unorthodox way Wendy Williams tried to confirm pregnancy rumors surrounding the Jersey Shore alum.
Urged to Drink
On Tuesday’s installment of “Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe,” Snooki recalled going on William’s eponymous daytime show in 2012.
It was right before she publicly announced she was expecting her first child.
Polizzi noted, “She was intimidating, for sure,” before her friend, Joey Camasta, added, “Remember when she made you drink when you were pregnant?”
“She did,” Polizzi replied, with Camasta stating she was “secretly pregnant.”
Polizzi elaborated, “She heard there was a rumor that I was pregnant. She brought out beer for me and Jenni [Farley] and goes, ‘Well, let’s see if you’re pregnant!'”
Snooki added that the whole moment was “so crazy,” and she just pretended to sip on the beer for the cameras, but in reality, she “didn’t even take a sip.”
After doing so, Williams exclaimed, “So you’re not pregnant! That was a pregnancy setup.”
Williams’ Response
After Snooki brought up the memory, Joe Tacopina, attorney for Williams, shared a statement.
He told Page Six, “I guess this Snooki is trying to use Wendy’s name to get attention for herself. I mean, why else would she be talking about a show from well over a decade ago now!? Whatever!”
Polizzi’s Children
Nicole Polizzi gave birth to her first child, son Lorenzo, in August 2012. He is now 13. She is also a mom to daughter Giovanna (11) and son Angelo (6).
She shares all three kids with husband, Jionni La Valle, whom she married in November 2014.
Current Health Status
As for Snooki’s more recent health status, it is not nearly as exciting.
The reality star is currently fighting Stage 1 cervical cancer. She announced the diagnosis in February and later told news outlets in April that she would undergo a hysterectomy within her treatment plan.
She shared with People, “I’m not great with pain, so thinking about removing an organ is scary.” She added, “That’s a part of being a woman and even though I’m done having kids, the thought of not being able to really upset me. It messes with you a little bit.”
