Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin are pregnant!
The couple officially announced the news on May 14th, much to their fans’ delight.
Pregnancy Announcement
The actor is expecting his first child with his model wife.
The pair announced the pregnancy during the 79th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France. They posed together for a couple of photos.
Palvin wore a stunning light blue dress with cap sleeves, which transformed into a feather skirt. Sprouse was wearing a tuxedo and put one arm around Palvin, while she placed hers under her belly, accentuating the baby bump.
In addition to the festival, the pair posted a joint Instagram post featuring their Cannes pictures, a sonogram with a baby’s hand, and another of them holding up a rock on hand sign.
Relationship Story
Sprouse and Palvin met at a party in 2017 and began dating in June 2018.
In November 2018, Palvin shared with Vogue Australia that she was “very much in love right now.” She added, “I feel like I found the perfect guy. He’s very kind and gentle.”
The pair got engaged in June 2023 and wed one month later in a ceremony in Hungary.
Palvin and Endometriosis
Palvin’s pregnancy journey is especially exciting due to her endometriosis diagnosis. This past August, the model had surgery for endometriosis.
She posted about it on Instagram, writing, “Hi guys, it’s been a while! For some years now I’ve been dealing with the difficulties that can come with my periods. Fatigue, severe pain, heavy and irregular flow, sleepless nights on the bathroom floor. I thought this was just how it works for me.”
She was then “advised to seek out an endometriosis specialist.”
“I’ve been going to checkups [with] my gynecologist every year. I thought if I had endometriosis I would have known about it by now, but as it turns out, endometriosis can’t be diagnosed with general examinations.”
She continued, “[The surgery helped me a lot, and I’m grateful I did it. Early diagnosis and treatment are very important to prevent long-term complications, and now I’m more mindful about my body to act fast if needed. I’m excited about this new chapter of my life and now ready to get back to work.”
Throughout her health journey, Sprouse has been a constant and supportive presence. He even raised awareness for the condition while attending the VS Fashion Show, where his wife was walking.
He shared with E! News at the time, “I brought this endometriosis awareness pin because Barbara just went through endo surgery. So was so strong to go through that herself.”
The actor added, “Once she posted about it, turns out a ton of people reached out to her, a ton of women who had experienced the same things. Some people were even reaching out and saying, ‘I didn’t realize I had those symptoms until I got diagnosed [after] seeing you post about it.'”
Keeping Marriage Alive
The two have always been super romantic and close, and in February 2025, they let viewers in on their relationship secrets.
They shared with People how they keep their marriage alive.
Palvin said, “When I travel, he’s there with me and we’re not away from each other.”
She continued, “When he’s on set, I try to visit him. We have this rule that we’re not supposed to be away from each other longer than two, three weeks.”
