Stephanie Pratt is taking to social media to discourage people from giving her brother, Spencer Pratt, a vote for the mayoral race in Los Angeles.
Pratt makes several allegations against her older sibling, claiming her brother is only running to “stay famous” and promote his new memoir. She claims a vote for Spencer Pratt is a “vote for stupidity.”
Stephanie Pratt Speaking Out
Stephanie released several posts about her feelings on her brother Spencer Pratt running for mayor, presenting a “history of Spencer” to her followers.
She starts out the chain of posts by congratulating her brother and her sister-in-law. “Spencer has done great work for the palisades,” she wrote on X.
“But LA does not need another unqualified and inexperienced mayor. A vote for him is a vote for stupidity.”
She continued that “in an ideal world the palisades would have their own mayor and police department,” and that she “would love him [Spencer] to be” in charge of the neighborhood, but not Los Angeles as a whole.
“I have no problem with Spencer playing government but our city needs help,” she wrote.
Referencing Brother’s Past
But Stephanie Pratt didn’t stop there. After her posts against voting for her brother Spencer, she also revealed allegations from his past.
One was an alleged assault that happened when she was 18, writing, “Everyone saying that I should support him no matter what. Sorry he beat me up when I was 18 & put me in the hospital. So no he doesn’t belong in the government. Run the palisades all you want not LA.”
She then went on to allege that Spencer got her “hooked” on drugs. “Almost forgot how it all started – he’s the one who got me hooked on hard core drugs at 15,” she claims. “I’ve kept this all a secret for years. He also had a hidden drug addiction. Now do you get he shouldn’t be running LA. Thank you. Amen.”
Stephanie’s final point against her brother was that Spencer was allegedly once arrested in Costa Rica for activity related to an alleged cult. In 2010, Spencer was arrested in the country for felony possession of a firearm, though it’s not clear if he was charged or faced court.
Stephanie quipped, “At least hire someone with work experience who wasn’t in a cult.”
She ended the posts with this comment: “Leopards never change their spots. Stay in the palisades Spencer.”
Fractured Relationship

Stephanie’s latest barrage of posts against her brother is not the first time this has happened.
The siblings have long had a fractured relationship, including the relationship between Stephanie and Spencer’s wife, Heidi Montag. Spencer has also called out his sibling on social media.
However, Stephanie did note at the end of her posts that the spotlight is not supposed to be on her.
“I have no interest in fame,” she says. “I’m taking a course to become a [Registered Behavior Technician} RBT my passion is helping children and adults with autism. I don’t even use instagram. I’m serious about my new career helping people.”
Spencer Pratt’s Campaign
Spencer’s decision to run for mayor stemmed from the moment he and his wife lost their home in the Palisades fire more than a year ago.
He has since emerged as a controversial and influential public policy critic, running for the mayoral election set for June 2nd in Los Angeles. He will run against the current Mayor Karen Bass.
When talking about his support from townspeople to Fox News Digital, he notes it’s not public, but rather building behind closed doors.
“I know actual A-list stars support what I do, because I’ve been at restaurants, and they sit down at the table, and they quiz me about everything that I know for 20 minutes and thank me,” Pratt commented. “But these people know if they do that publicly, they risk losing their careers that some of them have been working for 30 years to have.”
However, it’s important to stress that Spencer doesn’t judge or blame them, saying, “Everyone sees what’s happening, but everyone’s scared to talk.”
His decision to run for mayor coincided with the release of his memoir, The Guy You Loved to Hate, something that he comments was out of his control, and even “God’s timing.”
