Tyler Hilton and Megan Park Announce Their Separation After 10 Years

One Tree Hill star Tyler Hilton and Secret Life of the American Teenager star Megan Park have officially called it quits.

Hilton announced the separation on social media on January 16th after they had been married for 10 years.

Unlike other recent splits, Hilton and Park kept the separation private for some time before online speculation prompted the public post.

Announcing the Separation

Tyler Hilton broke the news on Instagram.

In a post, he wrote: “A life update: I’ve never been super comfortable sharing personal information about our family life, but I’ve seen enough speculation online that I thought warranted clarity. Some time ago, Megan and I decided to end our marriage.

While the post didn’t provide a specific date, there has been speculation around the couple for a little while. It is also unclear at this time why the pair separated, but there is one thing they are still doing together.

In a final addition to the post, Hilton adds, “We continue to make the kids and coparenting the priority. Thanks for continuing to respect our privacy.”

Amicable Breakup

The split seems to be genuinely amicable. As of now, no public accusations or legal battles have appeared, fortunately for both the kids and parents.

Hilton and Park have decided to continue to prioritize their children through a cooperative relationship.

Their Relationship Timeline

The couple met all the way back in July 2006 during the production of Charlie Bartlett and started dating.

Seven years later, in December 2013, Tyler proposed to Megan with an heirloom ring, and two years later, the pair made it official with a wedding in Malibu.

The pair welcomed their daughter, Winnie, into the world in December 2019, with their second child, Benny, born in July 2024.

After 10 years of marriage, Hilton and Park decided to call it quits, announcing the separation in January 2026.

Throughout their marriage, the pair frequently collaborated on projects, with Park directing Hilton in projects like We’re Adults Now and Hilton scoring her 2024 film My Old Ass.

As of now, there is no word as to why the split occurred, or any comments from Megan about the split.
