Jessi Draper‘s estranged husband is taking things a step further than just filing for divorce.
Jordan Ngatikaura also requested a temporary restraining order against Draper, sealing the fate of their recently rocky relationship.
Restraining Order
Not even a week after Jordan Ngatikaura filed for divorce from Jessi Draper, he also asked for a temporary restraining order (TRO) against her.
He filed the request on March 20th, with Draper immediately filing an opposition to the TRO on the same day. The temporary restraining order was later denied.
News outlets have reached out to each of the pair’s attorneys, with Jessi’s attorneys stating they were “ethically prohbited from discussing any pending litigation at this time.”
Filing for Divorce
On March 19th, Ngatikaura decided to end his five-year marriage with Draper, who share kids Jagger (5), and Jovi (2).
He shared his decision with TMZ, and said it came with a “heavy heart.”
His statement said, “This has not been an easy decision and it comes with a heavy heart. I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons. While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition. I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect. I kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this as a family.”
Rocky Relationship
Jessi Draper and Jordan Ngatikaura’s relationship has been on the rocks for a while, with the pair separating several times before the divorce filing in March.
One of the biggest trials was Draper’s emotional affair with Vanderpump Villa star Marcano Brunette.
During an interview with People, she shared, “It starts off slow. It’s not like one big dramatic thing happens. It’s little behaviors over time, and then all of a sudden you look back and you’re too deep in it and you can’t do much about it.”
During that time, Draper accused her then-husband of emotional abuse, which later turned into a 90-day separation. The couple went to therapy to repair their relationship, and Draper said it had “helped a lot.”
She shared with People that, “It’s taught us both a lot about how we are as individuals and how we are in a relationship.”
However, things were “still a work in progress.”
In another interview with E! News, she shared, “Relationships are not perfect. I think a situation like ours, it’s going to take time. It’s not going to something that’s just amazing overnight. We’re just showcasing our story hoping it can help others and that they can relate to it ’cause it’s real.”
Other SLOMW Troubles
Draper’s divorce from Ngatikaura is not the only issues springing up within the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives community.
Just a few weeks prior, co-stars Mikayla Matthews and Jace Terry announced their breakup.
Plus, production on Season 5 has been paused amid an investigation into Taylor Frankie Paul‘s alleged domestic violence against Dakota Mortensen.
Several cast members have allegedly refused to film with Paul, and her upcoming season of The Bachelorette was pulled from airing on ABC.
