Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have split up just five months after their baby girl was born.
However, the couple is still “working on things” together.
Split Due to Work
According to the Sun, the relationship fell apart due to the comedian’s busy work schedule after the birth of Scottie.
An insider shared, “Pete has been traveling so much for work, but Elsie was craving more support from him at home after their daughter was born.”
They added, “It was very hard for him because, obviously, he has to work to make money.”
Another insider shared that the split was recent.
“They are just focusing 100% on Scottie. Working out the best co-parenting solution is their top priority.”
“Working on Things”
While they may be split, it is not with any malice.
A source said, “Pete and Elsie are working on things. They want one another to succeed and be happy.”
Plus, this isn’t the first time Davidson and Hewitt have dealt with ups and downs in their relationship.
The source explained, “There have been points where they’ve split and have gotten back together.”
As of now, it’s unknown whether the couple will reunite.
Past Relationship Struggles
The update that Davidson and Hewitt have split comes after FP Media reported the couple was navigating relationship struggles together at the beginning of May.
A source shared with People that the pair were navigating the struggles together after their daughter’s birth.
“There are issues, but they’re trying to figure things out together. They’re adjusting to parenthood and working through the process.”
The source added that Scottie is “their top priority.”

Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt went public with their relationship in March 2025. The actor and comedian even commented to Page Six that he was “very happy” to be in a romance with someone “very different from” his past girlfriends.
The couple later announced in July 2025 that they were expecting a child together. Hewitt posted her bump in an Instagram post with the caption, “welp now everyone knows we had sex.”
Along with her bump, Hewitt shared photos of the couple together and ultrasounds.
The couple had a bunny-themed baby shower before welcoming daughter, Scottie, on December 12th.
Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson was named after Davidson’s father, Scott Matthew Davidson, a New York City firefighter who died on 9/11.
The couple has posted some pictures of their daughter online, but has always chosen to leave her face out of the images.
