As a recent guest on Therapuss with Jake Shane, Kylie Jenner talks about telling her parents she was pregnant at 19: “I was really scared.”
After revealing that she had Stormi at 20 years old and was pregnant at 19, Shane asked how she was feeling during that time. “I was freaking out,” she told Shane. “I was really scared of telling my parents.”
Despite her fears, Kylie remained confident in her choice: “I was really scared, but there was something inside of me that knew that I wanted to do this. Even if I have to do this alone, this is the choice that I’m gonna make. Then I told my mom.”
Kylie reveals that her teen pregnancy did not receive the negative response she feared. “No one was angry at me,” She told Shane.
Not only did Kylie fear her parents’ reaction to the news, but she also describes her fear of the world’s reaction to her pregnancy. While discussing her “To Our Daughter” YouTube video, Kylie said, “Right when I posted that video, I sobbed for like three hours. I was worried about everyone’s reactions. It was just so emotional.”
Kylie talks about her relationship with her now 8-year-old daughter. She recalls that her daughter loves to go to Ulta, shopping for products–including Kylie’s lip butter–and making TikToks. Kylie also recounts Stormi’s love of being on camera, describing a recent visit to a restaurant with the paparazzi outside. “She was smiling big.”
“She’s you! She loves it!” Shane remarked.
When asked what it’s like to see her kids grow up, Kylie responded, saying, “It’s the best.”
Per Page Six, Kylie welcomed Stormi into the world in 2018 with her ex, Travis Scott. Now, she has been in a committed relationship with actor Timothée Chalamet since 2023.
As for the next steps in their relationship, Chalamet alluded that kids “could be on the radar” in an interview with Vogue.
