While she’s been in the headlines for months now due to domestic violence allegations, it seems like Taylor Frankie Paul’s Bachelorette season will be airing this summer.
The Mormon Housewives star has been hit with immense backlash over the allegations, along with her behaviour during the time, as she consistently stayed on social media, and even seemed to flaunt new relationships.
And while Mormon Housewives paused the show, and The Bachelorette didn’t air the season that starred Paul, it seems like everything is continuing, despite the drama.
According to longtime Bachelor insider, Reality Steve, the season will air this summer on ABC. While there is no official word from the network yet, the blogger and podcaster has correctly spoiled numerous Bachelor, Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise seasons beginning in 2009, according to Parade.
In an Instagram video, Reality Steve said, “According to my sources, it is going to air. And not only that, it’s not getting dumped on a streamer. It’s gonna air on ABC this summer.”
He continued, speculation that the announcement will be made during Disney and ABC’s Upfront on Thursday, May 12.
“I don’t know what day it’s gonna air. I don’t know the details. I don’t know the date that it starts,” Reality Steve said. “But considering we now know there is going to be a Bachelor season that will probably start film in September through November… I would think they’d want Taylor Frankie Paul’s season to be done airing by the time the next Bachelor season starts.”
The Bachelorette season was supposed to air on March 22, but it was pulled from ABC on March 19 when a TMZ video showing Paul assaulting her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. This led to many allegations to come up, and a judge calling both parties out for being violent.
“I’m finding that there’s been violence both ways between these parties… This has been a very toxic relationship,” Commissioner Russell Minas told the courtroom when he realized the couple couldn’t be in the same room without it getting violent.
While this is great news for Paul and many fans of the show, hopefully, both parties will receive the help they need to move forward from their difficult relationship.
