Dakota Mortensen Reports Third Domestic Violence Incident Against Taylor Frankie Paul

The allegations aren’t over yet, as Dakota Mortensen reports a third domestic violence incident against The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul.

According to NBC News, a police spokesman said Mortensen contacted the West Jordan, Utah, Police Department last month about an alleged 2024 incident between the pair. While details weren’t given about the altercation, the outlet is citing the open investigation.

The department is said to be reviewing multiple videos connected to the alleged event to figure out details and timelines, though the spokesman could not share the exact days of the 2024 incident.

The star has only been pushed more into the spotlight because of this, especially after footage was revealed showing a violent interaction between her and her ex-partner. After footage of the video circulated, the upcoming season of The Bachelorette was canceled, which was supposed to star Paul and premiere on March 22.

Along with The Bachelorette canceling the season, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has also paused filming.

However, even with the constant news of Taylor Frankie Paul circulating, the reality star has not shied away from being in the public eye. In fact, many social media users have urged Paul to step away from social media and get off the phone, but the reality star is almost embracing the publicity.

Paul and Mortensen are expected in court on April 7 after Mortensen was granted a temporary restraining order against Paul. Court documents also show that Mortensen was granted temporary custody of their 2-year-old son, Ever.

According to a statement read by Paul’s team, she has experienced years of “mental and physical abuse.” Along with that, Paul dealt with “threats of retaliation.”

“Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm,” read the statement. “There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives. Taylor has remained silent out of fear of further abuse, retaliation and public shaming. She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support, and preparing to own and share her story.”

While this is the third allegation in the current investigation, Paul has previously pleaded guilty in abeyance to aggravated assault following a 2023 fight between the duo.
