Tiger Woods wants to get back to the green.
The famed golfer hopes to return to his beloved sport after seeking treatment following his recent DUI arrest.
Desire to Return

According to a golf insider, Woods “desperately” wants to return to the sport. It’s a huge motivator when it comes to sticking with his treatment.
The source says, “Woods is doing what is needed to feel good both physically and mentally.”
The source elaborated, “He knows he needs to beat his issues and also deal with the pain from not only playing golf but also from his regular fitness schedule. People around him are supporting him, both personally and professionally. All of this is helping him deal with it enough to get through it.”
Another source shared with People that Woods “still has golf in him,” but things are “harder” now due to his injuries and age.
The source added, “He just wants to get better in all areas of his life.”
Stepping Away from Golf
Four days after his DUI arrest, Woods broke his silence about the incident and his next steps on social media.
He wrote, “I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health.”
He added, “I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”
DUI Arrest
Tiger Woods was arrested after crashing his Range Rover in Jupiter Island, Florida, on March 27th.
While he “blew triple zeros” on a Breathalyzer test, he refused a urinalysis, and authorities believed he was “not impaired by alcohol but possibly by medication or another substance.”
During the arrest, two hydrocodone pills were found in his pants pocket, and he had “several signs of impairment,” including “bloodshot and glassy” eyes and “extremely dilated” pupils.
He was later charged with a misdemeanor.
