Elon Musk is at the forefront of media outlets, this time for one of his children.
The successful businessman is planning to file for full custody of his 1-year-old son with Ashley St. Clair. The issue with St. Clair began when she posted an apology for past anti-trans remarks, and instead changed her tune and voiced support for the transgender community.

The Transgender Situation
Elon Musk shared his decision on social media, going on to suggest that his ex-wife may even support a gender transition for their child.
On his social media, Musk commented, “I will be filing for full custody today, given her statements implying she might transition a one-year-old boy.”
This was in response to a follower’s comment urging him to seek full care of his son, and has since drawn the attention of thousands of users.
St. Clair, a conservative influencer, has not clearly voiced her decision or indication about letting her son undergo a gender transition.
St. Clair’s Comments
Prior to her recent comments, St. Clair was prominent as a right-wing culture warrior on X with several conservative takes on the world. However, some of her ideas changed with her recent social media posts about trans people.
In the post she wrote, “I feel immense guilt for my role….And even more guilt that things I have said in the past may have cause my son’s sister more pain. [I don’t really know] how to make amends for many of these things but I have been trying incredibly hard privately to learn + advocate for those within the trans community that I’ve hurt.”
Her response stemmed from an X user accusing her of “blatant transphobia.”
It’s important to note that one of Musk’s other children, Vivian, came out as transgender in 2022.
She ended her apology with: “Even this reply will become right-wing hysteria but yeah I am sorry. Let me know how I can help.”
Musk’s Children With Others

Musk has children with several other women, totaling 13 children across them all.
He has five children with his first wife, Justine Wilson (twins Vivan and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian). Their son, Nevada, died in 2002 at 10 weeks old.
He has another three with pop star Grimes, including X, who has been seen at the White House with Elon Musk.
Plus, Musk and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis share twins Strider and Azure, daughter Arcadia, and son Seldon Lycurgus.
