Costco is no stranger to bringing treats from other cultures and countries to our homes. From French macaroons to Italian tiramisu, shoppers get a wide variety of unique finds. Recently, though, Costco has brought in several delicious foods and sweets from Korea, including their Bibigo Dumplings and their popular Pulmuone Crispy Potato Corn Dogs.
Thankfully, there are even more delicious treats that customers can look for now that Costco debuts cult-favorite Korean dessert.
The latest in international foods hit the food aisle recently, and shoppers are flying to the warehouse to stock up on boxes. The viral Binggrae Samanco Frozen Dairy Desserts are an iconic Korean dessert. They’re essentially a unique ice cream sandwich, but they’re known for their fish-shaped design made from a crunchy waffle exterior.
The treat is filled with a variety of ice cream flavors along with either a paste or a jam.
Previously available for regional Costco locations, the Samanco is finally available nationwide in a colorful variety pack that includes 12 sandwiches, three in each flavor, including Strawberry, Chocolate, and Red Bean Paste. But don’t be intimidated by the latter, as it’s a subtle, sweet flavor that is commonlyused in Asian desserts.
While the box is available nationwide, prices will vary depending on location. The variety pack can be seen anywhere from $13 to as high as $17.
Be sure to head to your local Costco soon to try these delicious sweet treats. And if you want to stay up to date with the latest Costco news, keep checking back here for everything you need to know.
