Timotheée Chalamet, who’s been busy promoting his newest film Marty Supreme, is now entangled in a cheating scandal.
During his trip to Paris, he was caught with French-Romanian actress Anamaria Vartolomei in a hotel lobby.
Chalamet Caught in Scandal
Chalamet was in Paris to promote Marty Supreme, attending both the film premiere and the after-party.
The photo was taken when Chalamet was exiting a hotel, with Vartolomei also pictured in the photo. Chalamet appeared to look surprised when he spotted cameras outside the building.
“The pair suddenly realised they were being filmed and seemed to shy away from the cameras, returning to their hotel around 10:30 PM. Later, around 11:30 PM, they reportedly tried to leave quietly together, requesting a large security detail, including tarpaulins to prevent anyone from seeing them get into the same vehicle,” and X post claimed.
They went on to add, “They then drove around Paris for about an hour to ensure they weren’t being followed but ultimately decided to return to the hotel because too many people were allegedly watching them.”
With the photos spread across the internet and Chalamet and Vartolomei shying away from the cameras, observations quickly turned into cheating rumors.
Many believed there to be a romantic connection, with other claims fueling the fire.
Two Sides of the Story
With the post viral on X and other social media sites, two sides have appeared.
Fans have offered speculations, backlash, cheating rumors, and defense of the famous actor.
The post was later deleted when fans defended Chalamet, saying the original video and pictures were misleading, as the duo was not alone, but rather with a group of friends. Plus, security was present at all times.
Others even found footage of Chalamet returning to the hotel alone, pushing back against the wave of cheating rumors. Instead of having a lover’s rendezvous, the pair seemed to be heading to a scheduled engagement.
What some fans saw as secrecy, others say it was routine crowd management for a high-profile public figure.
Timothée and Kylie
That’s not to forget that Timothée and Kylie have been dating for three years now, and seem to be in a happy and loving relationship.
Winning awards for his role in Marty Supreme, Kylie has been to several of the ceremonies with him. At the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards, Chalamet even gave a shout-out to his girlfriend when accepting the Best Actor trophy.
He said, “I love you, I couldn’t do this without you.” Jenner mouthed “I love you” back from her seat in the audience.
Chalamet also posted an array of photos on Instagram the day after the cheating rumors erupted, seemingly to dispel all of them.
Neither Chalamet nor Jenner has publicly commented on the speculation or photos.
