Rob Schneider‘s wife, Patricia Azacorya Schneider, has filed for divorce. The marriage ended after 15 years together, according to court records in Arizona.
Filed for Divorce
Patricia, 37, originally filed her divorce petition on December 8th, 2025. Rob, 62, accepted the petition four days later.
They both agreed to take part in a mandatory parenting course and to a consent decree to keep the terms of their divorce private.
When she petitioned for the divorce, Patricia described the relationship as “irretrievably broken and there is no possibility of reconciliation.”
The last public appearance of Schneider and Patricia together was during a family outing with their two kids at the New York premiere of Happy Gilmore 2. During an interview at the premiere, Schneider said, “My happy place is any place with my family.”
Their Love Story
The couple first met in 2007 when Rob appeared on a show where Patricia was working as a producer. Scheider was 44 at the time, while Patricia was just 19.
The two found a connection with each other, marrying in April 2011 in an intimate Beverly Hills ceremony. At the time, Scheider commented, “Patricia and I were surrounded by our closest friends and family; it was the happiest day of my life.”
After the marriage, Schneider and Patricia had two daughters, Miranda Scarlett, 13, and Madeline Robbie, 9. You may recognize them in the 2022 film, Daddy Daughter Trip, which Schneider and Patricia co-wrote.
For their 10th anniversary, Patricia shared a love-filled Instagram post, writing, “10 years and counting!!!! No one is funnier than you husbando. Thanks for my beautiful babies. I love you para siempre.”
Schneider credits Patricia with keeping his career going in 2022, stating, “The only reason I’m still doing what I do is because of this lovely woman. You make everything beautiful! Every day a joy. And make my life a life of love and happiness. I love you para siempre.”
Rob Schneider & Daughter Elle King
Rob Schneider’s separation from Patricia occurred over a year after Rob’s eldest daughter, Elle King, from his previous marriage to London King, called him out on The Dumb Blonde podcast in August 2024.
King had strong opinions about her father, saying, “I don’t want to be associated with him. He’s just not nice. I disagree with a lot of the things that he says. You can want someone to change so much and ultimately, you can’t control anyone else’s actions.”
Schneider responded to King’s comments, wishing her well and replying, “I feel terrible, and I just want you to know that I don’t take anything you say personally.”
Many of these tense feelings stem from Schneider’s recent actions as he shifts from comedy to conservative politics, including standing against COVID-19 vaccines and LGBTQ+ representation in entertainment.
This prompted some more aggressive commentary from King, stating, “I go four or five years without talking to my dad. My dad called me and was like, ‘Don’t f—-ing talk about me in the press.’ I was like, ‘Get f—ed. You’re talking out your ass and you’re talking s— about drag and gay rights. Get f—ed.”
The pair did reconcile when King’s half-sisters were born, but the road has been rocky to say the least.
Schneider was previously married to London King from 1988 to 1990 and then to Helena Schneider from 2002 to 2005.
