There’s love in the air for Chris Rock.
The comedian was spotted in public with a mystery woman recently, sharing some PDA. The woman has been identified as Simone Henault.
PDA in NYC
On March 31st, Rock was spotted on an outing with Simone Henault in a public park in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood.
In photos, Rock and Henault walked side by side for a stroll, even stopping for a sweet kiss while sitting on a park bench. Both companies seemed to be having a good time.
Rock was wearing black joggers, a black sweatshirt, a cap, sunglasses, and white shoes. Henault wore a black and white beret, white tank top, yellow sleeveless vest, brown cargo pants, black shoes, and sunglasses.
Past Outings
This is not the first time Rock and Henault were in public together.
A month ago, the pair were leaving a fancy restaurant called the Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California. Henault’s identity was unknown at the time.
She is a DJ, creative producer, and content strategist, according to her Instagram profile.
Chris Rock’s Past Relationships
Chris Rock and Malaak Compton-Rock were married from 1996 to 2016. They share daughters, Lola Simone Rock (23) and Zahra Savannah Rock (21).
However, their divorce was quite public and messy, with Malaak seeking a settlement to continue the upscale lifestyle she had grown accustomed to. Things got even more tense, as their prenuptial agreement had expired under a sunset clause.
Rock had romantic ties to several women in recent years.
The comedian was with actress Lake Bell before Henault. The pair was photographed multiple times in Santa Monica together. This includes restaurants and a St. Louis Cardinals game.
Rock also dated actresses Megalyn Echikunwoke and Carmen Ejogo.
No More Marriage
While Chris Rock may have a budding relationship with Henault, it may not result in marriage. Rock talked about marriage and being single in his 50s during an episode of Hart to Heart in July 2022.
Hart joked, “You’re a 56-year-old bachelor now.”
Rock replied, laughing, with, “Let’s not go there. I’m by myself. I’m a lonely man!”
Hart went on to ask Rock about reconsidering marriage.
Rock said, “I think I’m good. At some point I’ll have a woman and whatever, and hopefully she’ll be with me for a while, and one day I won’t be able to make it up the steps and I’ll put her in my will. ‘I can’t get up the stairs — somebody get me my will! I gotta put Angie in my will.'”
Perhaps his newfound romance with Henault will be exactly what the Rock needs.
