Mushrooms in Red Wine Sauce Ingredients
- 1 pound of mushrooms, cleaned and sliced (450g)
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter (30g)
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup of red wine (120ml)
- 1/4 cup of beef broth (60ml)
- 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped (15ml)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the shallot and cook until softened.
- Add the mushrooms and cook for 7 minutes, until they give off their liquid and start to brown.
- Pour in the red wine and beef broth.
