Kim Kardashian is not slowing down when it comes to adding new projects. The reality star-turned-entrepreneur has been dabbling in a little bit of everything. But this time, Kim Kardashian heads to Broadway in her next big venture.
On April 13, The Fear of 13 announced that Kardashian has joined the production team as part of her continued effort to bring attention to criminal justice reform. The Fear of 13 is in performances now, with opening night on April 15.
The play is written by Lindsey Ferrentino and centers around the true story of Nick Yarris, who was imprisoned on death row for 22 years for a murder he did not commit.
In a statement, Kim Kardashian said, “My commitment to criminal justice reform has always been more than just policy – it’s about people. I’ve learned that sometimes the most effective way to change minds is through a powerful story.”

“The Fear of 13 is that story. It’s a raw, honest look at Nick Yarris’s wrongful conviction and the systemic failures that kept him behind bars for twenty years. I couldn’t be prouder to make my Broadway producing debut with a project that carries such vital weight.”
The prison drama follows Nick Yarris, and through a series of prison visits with a volunteer named Jackie, Nick traces a life shaped by impulse and consequence. The official synopsis reads: “As Nick and Jackie’s conversations deepen, the line between witness and participant blurs, forcing both to confront what justice demands, what belief requires, and the perilous distance between true freedom and the illusion of self- determination. By turns devastating, darkly funny, and life-affirming, The Fear of 13 is a powerful exploration of truth and trust, conscience and connection.”
The Broadway show is adapted from a 2015 documentary of the same name, and merges Kardashian’s advocacy with her passion for acting, which adds to her resume, along with her role in All’s Fair, the legal drama TV show.
The recent career movie is in line with the Kardashian star working hard to become a lawyer, even after several failed attempts. This is also very recent have the reality star’s new show was rejected by Hulu, which was going to be based on La La Anthony’s The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex and Happiness.
