In November, it was reported that the former Real Housewives of Orange County star, Meghan King, 41, had lost temporary custody of her three children. People Magazine highlighted that King posted an Instagram Story on December 23 that nodded to the chaos without spelling it out. She shared a meme that read, “It was a tough year, but at least I did not buy a Labubu,” then added her own line about “super-rare” things happening.
For those who have watched King on TV, she always seemed to power down when the cameras weren’t rolling. She and Edmonds married in 2014, split in 2019, and finalized their divorce in 2021, the latter of which played out in public.

People Magazine reported, citing an insider, that the change in custody followed allegations that King gave one of her sons ADHD medication that wasn’t prescribed, and that a school nurse was asked to administer it. A school employee then contacted CPS, which opened the investigation.
Supervised visitation followed the above allegation, along with a court-appointed advocate for the children and a restraining order request, again based on what sources told People.
Since then, it has been reported that the custody hearing has been called off. With both sides reaching an agreement that is in the best interest of the children. This information came direct from Edmonds’ representative Steve Honig, speaking to People Magazine.
