After splitting from Brad Pitt in 2016, Jolie has largely taken care of Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17. This includes sparing no expense for each of the children.
According to an insider, “They get exactly what they want, when they want, without exception. From lavish shopping trips to luxury vacations, her children are treated like royalty.”
The insanely privileged lifestyle has few spending limits, even though many of them have reached adulthood. Reportedly, Angelina Jolie doesn’t want her children to experience deprivation.
Influenced by Childhood
However, this may be more than just a superstar parent doting on their children. Many close to the situation believe Jolie’s parenting style was shaped by her childhood. It was filled with instability and a strained father-daughter relationship.
“Angie wasn’t indulged as much as they are when she was a child,” the insider continues.
Jolie had a distant relationship with her actor dad, Jon Voight, for much of her childhood. This was especially true after the split from her mother, the late actress Marcheline Bertrand.
