If you are in or around Philadelphia over the coming weeks, expect to be held up by road works.

What you need to know: PennDOT are targeting 50 roads across the region. Road works have already begun and will continue up to April 25, and maybe longer depending on weather.

Be warned, 12 of the roads are in the City and will impact travel lanes.

PennDOT is advising drivers to be aware of this ongoing operation and watch out for lane closures, slowdowns, and work crews.

What is being fixed: Potholes and damaged pavements.
