Cardi B and Stefon Diggs are singing a different tune just days after reuniting at Diggs’ Mother’s Day event.
The pair was seen in a tense argument outside of a coffee shop and gym in Burtonsville, Maryland.
Coffee Shop Argument
In a video that has been widely spread online, the singer was pretty animated as she yelled at Diggs, though he was relaxed throughout the interaction.
It’s not clear what the couple was arguing about, though the topic seemed to be pretty intense based on how Cardi B was acting. At one point, she got so animated that a man with Cardi put his hand on her shoulder to try to calm her down.
A source shared with news outlets that Cardi was overheard saying, “that b***h is messy.”
The confrontation lasted around 10 minutes. While the argument lasted a bit, it wasn’t that big of a deal. Security did come and turn away fans who wanted her autograph, though.
Cardi B Addressing Video
Cardi B has now gotten on social media to address the now-viral video of her and Diggs arguing.
The rapper posted on X, joking about the whole situation and acknowledging the newfound attention around the video.
She wrote, “Sometimes I forget I’m a celebrity… damn y’all ain’t never cuss your babydad out when you hungry?”
PDA on Mother’s Day
It’s an extra surprise to see Cardi and Diggs arguing, especially after Mother’s Day.
Cardi B showed up as a surprise at Diggs’ Deep Foundation Mother’s Day wellness event on Saturday. The two showed off lots of PDA, with Diggs kissing Cardi B on the cheek and wrapping his arm around her waist while posing for photos.
Some reports even claimed the pair greeted people at the party together.
Not long after the event, a source shared with US Weekly that Cardi is giving Diggs “a second chance but is not fully committing to him.”
Split in February
Diggs and Cardi B called it quits in February, just around a year after they went public with their relationship. The pair allegedly unfollowed each other on Instagram, with a source telling People Cardi “couldn’t trust” Diggs.
The further went on to say, “She didn’t trust him and felt like things were going on behind her back. She wasn’t in a place emotionally to deal with fighting and tension.”
Instead, she wanted to focus on her Little Miss Drama tour that ran from February to April, and provide “stability for her kids.”
However, the source did add that Cardi “never closed the door completely” on Diggs.
They continued, “He stepped it up a few weeks ago and showed her that he wants to make it work. It was enough of an effort to get her attention. She still cares about him a lot.”
