During the walk, you will receive a comprehensive introduction to Frederic Church’s work as an architect, landscape design, and artist. With all of his talents on display across Olana.

The tour addresses the leading role that Olana has played in environmental conservation and protection during the 20th and 21st centuries. 

Tour times: Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 11am – 4:00pm

Lupine Fest 2021

Things To Do in Albany

Witness the magic of spring with the Albany Pine Bush Preserve’s 17th annual Lupine Fest:

Fields of violet Lupine flowers and fluttering Karner blue butterflies set the stage for visitors to explore and support the Albany Pine Bush Preserve and its partners.

Stop by the Discovery Center to pick up a free Lupine Fest kids activity kit. Kits will be available between 10 AM and 11 AM. Registration is not required, but remember that kits are distributed on a first-come-first served basis.

Kits are available from May 22 onwards.
