Spending time with
your loved ones during holidays is so important and taking a trip together can
create even stronger bonds between family members. If you’re planning a
vacation for the whole family this year for the 4th of July, and trying to
consider everyone’s interests, a destination that offers a wide variety of
activities and attractions will be your best bet!

Beaches And
Boardwalks Offer Endless Adventure

Beach Vacations
are the perfect vacation for family members of any age, who doesn’t love the
sun and water! Travel and Leisure offers a list of the best beaches this
year for the 4th of July, and we picked out a spot with plenty of restaurants,
activities and open beachfront to watch the fireworks comfortably with the
whole family.

Virginia Beach, Virginia is considered to have one of the best boardwalks, and it spans for
3 miles! So whether you’re with the kids or the grandparents, everyone is sure
to find a shop or restaurant they love! You’ll find tons of local sites and
statues to offer plenty of fun exploration. Lastly there’s 14 miles of public
beaches, which means it’s time for that dream suntan and once the night falls,
there’s plenty of room to lay back and relax for the fireworks celebration.

Bond Together
With Nature At A National State Park

Connecting with nature over this 4th of July season may be the perfect way to create memories with your family. Camping and hiking can be the perfect group activity once the kids are starting to get a little older and what better place to do that on the 4th of July than America’s first ever National Park, Yellowstone. Don’t worry about sacrificing your fireworks celebration either, because there are plenty of nearby celebrations to check out too!

Theme Park
Coasters Celebration

The 4th of July is
one of the most exciting holidays and what else matches that same energy but a
theme park! Most parks offer fun for family members of all ages, and many put
of a special firework show.

We learned about a popular theme parks that get as excited about the 4th as we do, Six Flags boats 16 locations across the US and they all are offering a special celebration this year.

Watch The
Celebration From Inside Your Hotel Room

In the second half of 2019, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth will end its nearly 20-year run as the nighttime spectacular for Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. A new nighttime fireworks spectacular is in development for the park’s World Showcase Lagoon and will debut immediately following the conclusion of IllumiNations, Disney announced Monday, Sept. 17.

If you are traveling
with small children or infants, the outdoor fireworks celebration may be just a
little too late and too loud, but don’t give up on them all together! Fireworks
are such a symbolic part of our Independence Day, and we’ve thought of the
perfect way to still watch.

Find a hotel with
a fireworks facing window and enjoy a relaxing evening in a quiet and cool
setting while still getting a fantastic view. Better yet if you can find a view
over water, watching the reflections on the water and people on the boats even
a chance for mom and dad to reconnect. Book ahead of time though to ensure you
get the best spot.

Regardless of where you take your family on vacation this year for the 4th of July, always remember that the most important element is the togetherness of family and the memories made. Relax and don’t get too caught up in the details, take plenty of photos and don’t forget the sunscreen.
