The recipe uses frozen ravioli, a ground beef sauce, and enough cheese to make it gooey and comforting. Baked Ravioli Casserole Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 jar of marinara sauce, 24 ounces
  • 1 package of frozen cheese ravioli, 25 ounces
  • 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Baked Ravioli Casserole Recipe Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Add the ground beef and diced onion to a large skillet over medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain the extra grease.
  3. Stir in the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, and marinara sauce. Let it simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce across the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Add half of the frozen ravioli in an even layer and spoon half of the remaining meat sauce over the ravioli.
  6. Then sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella.
  7. Add the rest of the ravioli, then the rest of the meat sauce. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes, until the sauce is bubbling and the cheese is melted.
  10. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
