Mozzarella & Vino is the rustic, casual companion to Il Gattopardo which offers excellent fine dining (read expense account) Italian a few blocks away. Nestled in that flagship’s old space, Mozzarella&Vino’s menu offers a classic Italian menu at very reasonable prices with a heavy emphasis on – not surprisingly – mozzarella. It’s a great spot for lunch – with amazingly fresh salads and paninis along with a full assortment of antipasti and classic dishes. As hoped and expected, the mozzarella melts in your mouth, so can’t wait to return, ideally after work to take advantage of the small bar in the front which would be a great place for a casual drink. Great spot!
