Bay Bistro

bay bistro

We’ve eaten breakfast or brunch at Bay Bistro a dozen times, and it really can’t be beat for the money. For $10-12 dollars (or about half the price of any other place on Grace Bay), you can get an excellent breakfast steps from the beach accompanied by an unobstructed view of paradise.

Let’s talk about the food at Bay Bistro…

My personal favorite at Bay Bistro is the full house breakfast which comes with two pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, an English muffin plus a side of fresh fruit. Just get your workout in first. The omelets are also solid – with high marks for their mozzarella and fresh spinach. Coffee comes in a nice carafe, so you can refill yourself which cuts down on the rubbernecking to get the attention of somewhat indifferent (though very nice) waitstaff.

Grab a table facing the ocean, kick back and soak in one of the best restaurant views on the island. While you’re waiting for your food, you can entertain yourself by watching the resident cat unsuccessfully (during our visits) stalk birds in between begging you for food.

Bay Bistro turns into more of a fine dining establishment at night and is a solid option for a beachfront dinner, but the ambiance is probably the biggest draw. Good food under lantern lights hung from swinging palm trees blowing in the ocean breeze – come on…

Bay Bistro’s central location make it a nice beach walk from most of the surrounding resorts, and a great way to start the day.

Bonus – Weekend Brunch for $15 includes a bloody mary or mimosa. Everything we had was excellent with the only eehh dish being the breakfast tart – good idea with mixed execution.

Overall – the best breakfast deal, amazing view – and you can leave your shoes on the beach! Bay Bistro can’t be missed!
