Disney parks are undeniably fun and magical all year round, but there is nothing more enchanted than Disney World in December. If you and your family are looking to plan your next vacation, then let us show you why Disney must be on your list.
Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays
Epcot’s theme park transports visitors to 11 unique countries. Families get to imagine themselves in places like Morocco and Japan as they walk through replicas of major cultural landmarks. During the holidays, Epcot showcases the seasonal foods and drinks of these countries, followed by an extra-special, holiday themed IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.
Epcot’s Candlelight Processional
The Candlelight Processional is one of Epcot’s most spirited attractions during the holiday season. A 50-piece orchestra and massed choir tell the story of Christmas though music. The performance runs 3 times a day from November 22 through December 30, 2018.
Magic Kingdom’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade
Enjoy a holiday themed parade filled with all your favorite Disney characters along Main Street, U.S.A.!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom
Join Mickey Mouse for a wonderful party filled with holiday cheer. Not only is there music and dancing, but sparkling snowflakes will definitely fall in Florida. This stage show is bound to have you and your family smiling and laughing the entire time.
Hollywood Studio’s Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!
Hollywood Studio’s grand firework show is filled with bright colors, joyous music, and impressive projections. People of all ages will love seeing the replica of the famous Chinese Theater lit up in lights!
While on your trip, don’t forget to grab a bite and enjoy some of the festive foods showcased at each of the parks. These foods include, Mickey’s classic cinnamon buns with Christmas icing and beautifully decorated holiday cakes from Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs.
Before rapping up your magical trip, make sure to take a look inside the many Disney merchandise stores scattered throughout the parks and inside resorts. There you will find unique themed ornaments – from the Grand Floridian to the Animal Kingdom – and limited edition trading pins. Yet, definitely make sure to grab yourself a pair of Disney’s specialty holiday Mickey and Minnie ears.
